AI 划词翻译助手（以下称“本插件”）是一个浏览器扩展，用于翻译你在网页中选中或在插件中输入的文字。我们不运营任何服务器，不收集、不存储、不出售你的任何个人数据。

1. 本插件处理哪些数据

待翻译的文字：你在网页上选中的文字，或在插件弹窗中输入的文字。
API 配置：你填写的 API Key、接口地址和模型名称。
最近一次输入与译文：用于重新打开弹窗时恢复内容。

2. 数据去向

待翻译的文字只会从你的浏览器直接发送到你自己配置的 AI 接口（默认为 DeepSeek：api.deepseek.com），用于生成译文。该接口对数据的处理受其服务商隐私政策约束。
本插件的开发者不会接收、查看或保存这些文字。
本插件不包含任何统计、广告或追踪代码。

3. 数据存储

API 配置保存在浏览器的扩展存储（chrome.storage.sync）中；如果你开启了浏览器同步，它会随你的浏览器账号在你自己的设备间同步。
最近一次输入与译文保存在会话存储（chrome.storage.session）中，关闭浏览器后自动清除。
卸载本插件即会删除上述全部数据。

4. 权限说明

storage：保存你的 API 配置。
访问所有网站：在任意网页上识别你选中的文字并就近显示译文，以及向你配置的 AI 接口发送翻译请求。插件不会读取或修改你未选中的网页内容。

Privacy Policy

AI Selection Translator ("the extension") translates text you select on a web page or type into its popup. We run no servers and do not collect, store, or sell any personal data.

Data the extension handles

The text you select or type for translation.
Your API settings (API key, endpoint URL, model name).
Your most recent input and translation, so the popup can restore them.

Where data goes

Text to be translated is sent directly from your browser to the AI endpoint you configure (DeepSeek, api.deepseek.com, by default). That provider's privacy policy governs its handling of the data.
The developer never receives, sees, or stores this text. The extension contains no analytics, ads, or tracking.

Storage

API settings are kept in chrome.storage.sync and, if browser sync is on, synced across your own devices by your browser account.
The most recent input and translation are kept in chrome.storage.session and cleared when the browser closes.
Uninstalling the extension removes all of this data.

Permissions

storage: to save your API settings.
Access to all sites: to detect the text you select on any page, show the translation next to it, and send the request to the AI endpoint you configured. The extension does not read or change page content you have not selected.
